Hi, I’m Melissa — and this is Estrella De Oro Jewelry ✨

This isn’t just a jewelry business. It’s a love letter to my mom — the strongest woman I know — and the dream we’ve built together, one piece at a time.

She started it all in 2017 with a small jewelry booth inside La Michoacana in Houston. Rain or shine, she was there — offering gold, silver, and warm conversation to everyone who walked by. What she created with her own two hands quickly became a community staple.

Then in 2021, everything changed. My mom was diagnosed with cancer. I left my job to care for her full-time, while still helping her run the joyería. It was the hardest season of our lives — filled with treatments, appointments, and the quiet strength of showing up every day. But she never stopped. And neither did I.

After she beat cancer in 2022 (💪✨), I knew I had to help her dream grow. So in early 2024, I launched Estrella De Oro online — no team, no experience, just heart. We didn’t get our first two online orders until June, and honestly, I had no idea what I was doing. But I kept going.

Then one day in September, I went live on TikTok with 50 followers. And everything changed.

From 6 orders to hundreds… from our kitchen table to shipping nationwide… this little dream has grown because of people like you.

Every order placed, message sent, or kind word shared has helped build something bigger than just jewelry. It's about legacy, love, and the quiet power of believing in something more.

We’re still learning. Still growing. And at the end of the day, I’m just a daughter trying to retire her mom — with real gold, real stories, and a whole lot of heart.
