- A ruler or measuring tape.
- A pen or marker.
2. Steps to Measure:
- Take the rope, string, or strip of paper and wrap it around the base of the finger you want to measure.
- Make sure the string is snug but not tight. It should sit comfortably without cutting off circulation.
- Mark the point where the string or paper overlaps.
- Measure the length of the string or paper with a ruler, in millimeters (mm).
- Use the measurement to find your ring size on the chart below.
